would everybody agree that a well known NCRS member would fit the definition of cheap under the following circumstances: he takes delivery of a new ZR1 a couple of weeks ago, hauls it to his storage facility and deposits it in his collection of well over 20 c-1, c-2 and c-3s as well as antique autos, trucks, and wagons. he then heads out to Carlisle from the deep south in a 210,000 mile 1998 Buick. on his return home, the Buick engine seizes.then he nearly has a myocardial infarct when the tow truck operator informs him the storage fee for the Buick will be $30 per day. mike

Mike, at 58 I always swear I've have seen it all, But I am continually hard pressed at what some folks do. So often the wildest, weirdest and stupid things that happen both in and out of our hobby. IE: I was at a NCRS meet in Wildwood, NJ where a individual who had a 77 corvette with only 5 miles on it. Why might thee ask ? Simple, Because he and his hired help only push the car backwards ! He never drives it, save for getting it on a trailer. Once on, it rolls backwards to be put out for a show.
