John, that won't be known until the March 2010 Board meeting. Conventions are approxed 3 years out and Regionals are 2 years out. Gary....

Carolinas next year would definitely qualify as "east coast."
Now, if you want to limit the "east coast" to anything north of NYC that's a different story.

2011 in Michigan may be closer to you.

If the rotation is done as usual, it will be somewhere in the Eastern 1/3 of the US.

I understand that the population primarily lives in the eastern and western sections of the nation, but after the 2010 & 2011 Conventions being in the eastern 1/3 of the land mass of the continental U.S., I would hope that after 2012 in the west, they would choose a location located more central in the U.S. like maybe Illinois, Oklahoma or Colorado. I realize that I live in the middle of nowhere, which is also the geological center of the U.S., that it should be reasonable to think that a national convention be located within 1000 miles of my area every 5 or so years. St Louis in 2008, why not central U.S. in 2013. Not trying to ruffle any feathers, just one man opinion! Thanks for listening!

The population center in the US is near east Missouri, probably not far from St Louis.

You guys that want the convention in your area get out there and put a in a bid for it. From I what I understand San Diego was the only one to turn in a bid for the 2012 convention.
