If a car has smog it should have a smog booklet.

I thought the pamphlet for K19/AIR system first appeared for the 67 model?

        Ron,
Correct...if the car did not have a hardtop, there were no holes in the rear deck.
Try getting those license frames into your glove box.
        Cheers,
        Dave

Michael, 1966 was the first year that the smog system was used on small block and big block Corvettes delievered to California. Wtih that being the case the booklet would be with the car.

I don't see the A.I.R. pamphlet shown in the list of IP compartment items in the 66 AIM. Is it shown in the 67 AIM?

Someone with '67 AIM will have to post that reply.

I'm pretty sure it is shown in the 67 AIM. I think that was the first year for that phamplet.

Wasn't it called something like "Air, Water and something else??

Yup - it was the "Sun, Air & Wheels" pamphlet, P/N 1382037, and didn't start until the '67 model year on K-19 units; 66's with K-19 didn't have any emissions pamphlet.

Thanks John. Thought so. I've never seen one in a 66 or in any 66 paperwork.

                      Mile,
I just looked at my 67 AIM, and what is see is: a bookelet entitled-Sun, Air & Wheels, that was inlcluded with K19 (Air Injection Reactor) optioned vehicles.
                      Hope this helps,
                      Lynn

that would be fun, notice the code in the 66 AIM, it says place those in the passanger comparment so that works pretty good.

I may be a little late with this post, but thought I would share what I have. Included are a couple of pictures of my ORIGINAL Chevrolet Corvette Radio Booklet. One of the front and one of the inside. It is only basically piece of paper folded with nothing on the back page. This is from my late 63 and the number in the book is 7285127. Keeping with what Jack stated earlier, if they were all fairly similar with just the editon/information being revised, I would think it would look something like this.

Thanks Lynn. That's a rare mid 63 (only) AM-FM radio folder. It was the first issue AM-FM folder for 63 and it was only used for a short time. It was replaced (on paper) by the 7286857 on 12 April 63. (It may have been used in production a month or two after thw April date)

Wouldn it be possible to get a closeup of this? Or possibly a scan? It would be interesting if we could compare it to the late 63 (and 64) folder to see what changed in the text.

Most certainly Mike!! Give me a little while and I will attempt both(close up and scanning). Interesting info from you for sure. What I can tell you is I am CERTAIN this came with my car, as I have all (or for sure most) of the original paperwork for my car including a owners manual. OPP, dealer order copy (N34 and T86 by the way) and I think the origin for title (and more) if I remember correctly. My car is #19210. Built on 7-10-63, with dealer stamp on trim tag of 8-3. Purchase date in the OPP booklet is 9-11-63.
I will get back to you with pictures and scan.
Question on the scan, does that work the same as posting pictures??
                              Thanks,
                              Lynn

Great! Thanks Lynn. I think the difference between the mid production AM-FM guide and the later 63 (and 64) 7286857 guide may be the antenna height or miles from broadcast tower info but that's just a guess.
Sounds like your original owner kept everything.

The scan should work the same way as a picture. Once scanned, it becomes a picture. I save these in the "My Pictures" folder and select to post.

We could use a scan of the 7286857 late 63 and 64 guide too if anyone happens to have one handy.
