Good cars will bring descent money but these questionable cars are getting harder to sell. There is a 1967 convert. on the big flea now that 7 years ago was a 327/300 auto. Now it's a 372/350 4 speed. If you look at the engine stamping, you can see that someone changed the HO to a HT.
The rest of the stampings are like they were back in 2003.

I'm surprised that it only morphed into a 350hp car and not a 435

If you talking about the Black roadster on e-Bay now. That car was on ebay last summer. Out of Kan city or Missouri. Advt. non mtch nos car. No org trans. Non-black car (I believe) , Non- org N-14, Owner let it go for 37-38K. I talked to him. Least HE was straight about it. Now dealer has it. All nos mtch. Look at the tach and 60 lb oil gauge. The dink didn't bother to change those obvious pts as well. Good luck to the next guy.

Does it look like there are scratch marks in the support bar just to the left of the left-hand rivet on the VIN tag? Looks to me like someone took a blade screwdriver to it.

Are you saying it was altered ?

It looks to me as though some of the dealers are picking up more cars than normal. But as I stated above I can't find any bargains!
