You don't need the "cap"....... not sure what application would require this ( maby marine ?)

You DO need the cap. Without it all you have is a small threaded connection on top of the plub

OK.... IF the plug has a "removable" top cap... yes , you would need it to connect a standard auyomotive connection . But, I'm not aware that ALL plugs have a removable cap .... I could be wrong !

Brandon, you need the terminal cap that threads onto the terminal end so you can snap the plug wire onto it. I've been changing plugs since 1967 and automotive plugs used a cap well before then.

I think that some uses of spark plugs call for a plug wire with a spade connection, which fits onto the terminal end and is held on with nuts. I've never seen one of these, so I could be wrong.

Paul, I think that type connection predates us a few years. I have done restorations on '20's vintage vehicles and that is what was used. Along with lacquered fabric covered plug wires.

a lot of performance spark plugs have the screw on caps so they can be used with either types of plug wire ends

Clem - They don't remember "Rajah" plug wire terminals.

a lot of off road vehicles like dirt bikes, quads and snowmobiles use the plug with just the threaded part showing and you have to remove the screw on cap.

                            Brandon,
Have you tried a local parts store like NAPA or even Auto Zon e, Pep Boys or others?
Most carry many types and brands of plugs. I get AC, Autolite and others for about $2.50 each.
