      We had a great time at Bloomington! Looking forward to next year already. Unfortunately, we can't make the National this year.

        Hello Mark;

        That is news to the people that manned the booth. And the new members signed up for National NCRS.

          Hi Ray. I am just reporting what the BG staffer told us when we asked for help. I am glad to hear NCRS was there....we were hoping to stop by. Regards.

            We attended Thursday and Friday. This was our first show and we had a great time. It was great to see the wide variety of cars and everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful.

Many of us traditionalists wish it would return to Bloomington/Normal where it originated. Regarding the NCRS booth, we never did find it, but did ask a BG staffer. It will be interesting to see how BG progresses in future years. Today's activity is to include a showing of all sorts of collectibles (imports, Ford, other GM, etc.). Makes one wonder if their business model is to extend the certification process in future years to models other than the Corvette. Thoughts?
              I agree that I would also love the show to return to Bloomington but I don't see that happening anytime soon. It would not surprise me one bit if the show eventually moved to the Indiana state fairgrounds.

                Hello Mark;
                There was much activity around the area of the booth making it difficult to see.
                I was just trying my hand at levity with the comment "it was news" but now rereading my post it did not read that way. Sorry.

                  We had a good time this year and it always fun seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Sad to say it seems that a lot of the swappers and vendors are slowly disappearing.
                  Coagulations to Greg Simom, from the NCRS St Louis Chapter, for attaining his Bloomington Gold with his beautiful 62, it's the 62 that was under our tent and we transported to BG for him.
                  Thanks to all that stooped by our swap spot and said Hi.

                    Hello Bill;
                    Thanks for the photo.
                    Walked by your area several times. Did not realize it was your booth.
                    Will stop next year. "God willing and the creek don't rise"

                      Spent both Friday & Saturday down in St Charles, IL at BG. It was my first time attending a BG judged event and was very impressed on the way cars are required to be shown. I'm a recent C2 owner but fell in love with a red 1960 fuelie (lot S151) that never made it up over $75K. My Sunfire Yellow '66 looks awesome sitting next to my 68 Shelby KR....maybe I'll get divorced so I can add the '60 to my collection (not). Everyone was right, buyers market out there today. With the weather that rolled through weds & sunday, wouldn't wanted to have a tee-time on Monday a.m.!

                        The Red 62 at the NCRS booth from the St louis Chapter was indeed a well done restoration but I noticed that it had an idler pulley and a double sheave crank pulley set up. I'm not familar with the B.G. judging but wouldn't that be considered incorrect ?

                          Its not my car. I just trailered it to BG for one of our club members. Maybe one of the 62 guys can answer your question? What does the JM say about the pulley?
