My brake pedal uses the brake light switch bracket as it's stop which I think is correct. Over time and use, the stop has been tapped back to a point where the piston came out of the master cylinder. Is this just a matter of making sure those bolts are real tight or am I missing something here. Was there ever a rubber stop on the bracket to cushion the return? Haven't seen one in any diagrams or parts books and the metal on metal doesn't seem right.

Brake switch dont stop the pedal MS piston has a locking ring , you better remove the MS and see wonts going on , it has a snap ring to keep the shaft IN!My brake pedal uses the brake light switch bracket as it's stop which I think is correct.
