I am working on my 67 today and have a question about the correct size fuses. Some of these fuses say AGC and some with SFG and I would like to know what is correct so I can make sure everything is to spec. I take it the amps rating that's on the fuse box is correct but what about AGC etc.
I believe the first fuse for the guages is the original correct 10 amp it reads something like 311 10 A.
Any help is appreciated.

) on the use of color-coded glass fuses in 67 and newer Corvettes. These fuse manufactures were either Buss fuses (Bussman Mfg. Division) or Littelfuse fuses (Littelfuse, Inc.) and Made in the U.S.A. Pete
As with the 660 thermostat housings, it was the manufactures' option as to where they put the part number or in this case how they designated the color coding of the amperage on the glass fuses and it's referenced in the Restorer article. In fact the Buss fuses that usually had the color "painted" on the inside of the glass tube did paint their smaller length fuses with a "dot" or marking on the outside so you could tell visually if the fuse had "blown." Littelfuse (not Littlefuse) fuses did have the "dot" or marking on the outside of the glass as mentioned in the Restorer article. Pete
