That's a tough deal as the connectors were actually molded on over the wires/terminals. Easiest replacement might be to get the connection (both sides if needed) out of a junked car and splice the wires in an unseen area of the harness.

You are probably right, as I have had no luck finding the parts at the usual places. This might be a project that gets put on the back burner for awhile. The wipers are working, but you have to raise and lower the door with the switch under the steering column to avoid the door closing too soon. I am going to replace the switch under the right wiper arm to see if that helps as it had been bypassed.

Thanks to everyone that has responded. I am always amazed at the depth of knowledge available here. I wish I could reciprocate!

The under arm switch will help with the parking of the wipers but I would guess if you use the dash switch only the wipers will crash into the bottom of the door before it opens. Does it do that now ? If the door is REALLY fast some will work OK.

Where this wire goes into my wiper motor there is a little black plug in the hole, while Roger's appears to have none. Should there be a plug?

Roger - It is pretty quick, and seems to work once. After the door closes via the regular wiper switch it is all over.

Jerry - Pardon my ignorance, but I am not sure what you are referring to.

I think you need the other plug.

Pat , yours looks good. The one I posted is missing the plug or grommet.
