Do the single digit Tonawanda castings all also have the large letter T (stamped or cast)?
    Ed -

Good question, here's another oddity. Photo below is a 608 small-block water pump I keep as a spare, dated D 6 7, with a raised "T" on it, which usually indicates a Tonawanda casting. However, as I recall, the Tonawanda-cast 608 water pumps had two heavy reinforcing ribs on the driver's side "leg", and this one doesn't - it appears to be a Saginaw-style casting. Tonawanda or Saginaw casting? I dunno.
