Re: Vacuum line of A/C BB
Dale, I looked at my L36 configuration and took a couple of pictures for you. By-and-large this is an unrestored car. I believe that "Item 1 Cap" is a nylon cap that fits to the AC solenoid which I took a closeup picture of. On the "View B" I have a 3 nipple valve in which 1 is capped. One hose has 1 rib on it and runs to the firewall and the other hose runs to my PB booster. I took a photo of that as well. Let me know if you need more pictures.

Re: Vacuum line of A/C BB
Jeff,
Thanks for posting the 2 pictures. It is interesting that the vacuum advance is hooked up to the side port in your lower picture. That port is usually reserved for the AIR pump. The port in front of the carb, which supplies ported vacuum, is usually connected to the Vac. advance. What is attached to this front port on your car? The clip attached to the intake manifold usually handles a metal line. Page 75 of the Dobbins book has a great look at these lines.

Re: Vacuum line of A/C BB
Jeff & Jeff
Jeff G thanks for the pictures, the AIM C60 diagram does not address the pwr. brakes port so it just has the two pickups. It does show the front port of the carb caped so I guess all that metal tubing and valve cover clamping for the non A/C is non applicable. Sure hope someone has a picture of just the basic L36 with C60. Jeff S., what Dobbins book is that that has pictures on page 75. My book page 75 has tires. Is yours the Fact Book of stingray 68 -72? I was mistaken it does have the brake line.

Re: Vacuum line of A/C BB
Dale,
The book you are probably looking at is the Bizzoco "1969 Stingray Guidebook"
which is the best source for information about '69's out there. Page 75 does indeed deal with tires. The book I'm referring to is the "Fact Book of the 1968-1972 Stingray" by M. F. Dobbins.

Re: Vacuum line of A/C BB
Dale,
I have the 3rd edition (Dobbins). Just go to the section that shows '69 engine pictures and find the first big block photos. You will find the picture I'm talking about.
