Re: What are you working on right now?

My Mother had a green Pacer in the 70's. (green, somewhat similar to Citrus Green on '70 Camaro) Several weeks ago, now 90 and recalling all the cars she's owned she said the Pacer was her favorite of all. I said, "you've gotta' be kidding", given the fact that she had a really nice '69 2 dr Malibu.

This rolled into the shop today. It's my son's girlfreind's new car. It is a lot of fun.

Looks like this is what I'm working on right now. I need to learn about tuning a Diablosport chip (at least that's what I think it is-Fords really aren't my flavor).

                        I use Photobucket

                        www.photobucket.com

It will allow you to post the image link and thus produce the photo in the text. I keep many of my photos there to post at a later date. You can even save / download videos. One other car I am always working on is my 67 Nova. 422 SBC 596hp @6300.

As an Administrator on a large high performance boat website we frequently recommend WWW.tinypic.com It is simple to use and requires no registration or sign in.

You click on the link, hit BROUSE to select the file from YOUR computer, then hit upload now. (you'll have to copy a security code that's furnished on the screen in the box which is intended to defeat spam bots) After it uploads copy the link in the box "for forums and message boards" and place it in the text of your post here. It will open as the picture, just like this:

Did I actually admit to owning a Ford on a Corvette forum?

The quarter panel of the Lyndale blue '67 next to my Shelby at the show belongs to the president of our local car club who bought the car brand new. Ironically, he's a retired engineer from FoMoCo and during his tenure there raced the Corvette at local drags around Michigan. It's recent chassis off restoration left it fairly close to topflight quality with only minor detailing needed. It's L79 with original drivetrain. So as a Ford engineer, head guy for safety for Ford worldwide during the Explorer roll over years he drove a Corvette. He's still a yankee at heart but we're trying hard to sort him out otherwise since he's got his car priorities in order.
