I have had my '62 chassis and drive train finished for some time now and had periodically started the engine. (just to hear it run!)
I thought I was going to have the body back to dry fit it to the frame fairly soon so I removed my dashbox and radiator etc. Now it appears that it may be mid winter before that comes about.
So, my carb is full of gas and I am concerned that I should do something to prevent it from gumming up and turning to varnish before I can run it again.
If I remove the carb and drain the gas out as best as I can, will that be sufficiant to prevent any issues in the future? Or is there some additive that I should run thru it in the gas by reconnecting the radiator and dashbox to start it up again?
