    I'm glad that you raised the question Al. Mine's the same way on the right side. I had an OEM molding on the car and bought a second OEM piece thinking that there was something wrong with the first but they both fit the same way. The left side follows the outline of the wheel opening but the molding on the right side extends forward of the opening. My car has had some front end body work in the past and I was thinking that it perhaps had something to do with that but then the hood wouldn't fit would it if it were that far off. Maybe that's just the way the factory standards were in 1959/1960.

      Well I wonder if the judges notices this to be an issue and save a few points from being deducted?
