    Wayne,
Could ya blame them at the time?
In '73 when gas went from .29 gal al the way up to .79 gal who would want one of them thare big block "anchors" that got such poor milage.
Made sense to pull it and put in a small block.

How about that very rare '67 Mosport Green convertible just above it.
Must have been real early in production to use a '66 color (maybe the Goodwood Green hadn't been delivered to the plant yet).

But the LT1 with Air really shows how even back then that those were a truely rare find...

Sounds to me like "I want my car to be rare and valuable, and please help me establish that, without any help from me."

          Mike,
You are right, it seems that Ed Sampson is not willing to provide any information other then his initial post.

I have twice requested some specifics that might lead us to some conclusions.

So, it seems that the car is a real "Mystery".

          Ed, any helpnfrom you???

Most of them had SB engines in them. Gas got expensive & hard to get during the embargo. Back when the ad came out all C-3"s were bringing way more money than the c-2's. If you look you will see he was only asking 500.00 more than a 70 LT-1 & less than the 75
