Don't feel bad Jerry, I have trouble everytime I log on to this site. I find this site unneccesarilly complicated to navigate. Keep it simple stupid does not apply to this site. Just one persons opinion.

There is a "discussion board help" forum. It might be worth your while to at least look there, and maybe this post belongs there -- where the IT team could offer help.

I suspect knowing what browser you are using will be an advantage to those more versed in computers than I am. Some browsers, and more importantly their settings, do not retain cookies. It sounds to this simpleton that is what you are faced with.

are you using the URL forums.ncrs.org or www.forums.ncrs.org to enter the site? You should use the URL with the www. prefix...

I have not logged on for months, but I get on the Forum every day.

How it works I'm not sure, but it works for me.

I use several different computers at home and at work as well as occasionally my iPhone. I never have to log back in unless they do an update of some sort at the office.

You're cookies have been deleted and if you've checked "remember me" and it doesn't take, then your machine has been locked down. I locked down my home machine and it won't remember me. That is a great way to prevent a virus infection. Is the computer at work or home. At work, nothing you can do. At home, loosen up the security settins.

ncrs.org works just fine you don't need www.ncrs.org

You must be livin right. I've had this site shut down while using it, if I walk away for an hour,and everytime I shut my computor down for the night. I have more problems with this site than any other site I visit on a regular basis. You'd think it was a CIA or FBI site.

After posting this last reply I attempted to return to the forum and the massage was that my time had expired. I had to start over completely and log in.This is getting old.

What browser are you using?

I once had something similar and found it was a "safety" add-on to my browser. I turned off the add-on and the problem went away.
As we say on another site, if you play the odds, "the problem's on your end."
