I heard the front end (grill) looks great, but a rear end redesign is already in the works!

    We'll see.

Just watched the unveiling (Thanks for the link, Tom Hendricks) . It's again the "Stingray".

Much like the red rendering I posted earlier this week, however, much more aggressive in vents, scoops and trim. I LIKE IT, at least on the monitor!

        Re: C7, dreaming

I just saw the you tube reveal and my 2 cents is the front end looks nice but the rear is terrible. A Corvette is supposed to be at the forefront on styling. The fact that it has a Camaro rear end and the styling cues from the side of a nissan Z car is very dissapointing.

Pics, specs at National Corvette Museum site. The corvettestingray2014.com site didn't come up --- yet.

Looks like all the "spy shots" were accurate. By far the ugliest Corvette ever built.

...The front's not bad, Ferrari-ish, a straight on back-half roofline view reminds me of a Ford Mustang. The rear? It looks like ASS. I hate it. On the bright side though, I'll never have to worry about trying to save up for one!!! Those left-over C6s may even go up in value!!!

Yup, and prices for used ones will stay strong.

I must be the only one that likes the C7. It's very exotic looking and definitely a new car. I especially like the off white color and think it would look good parked next to my 63, the LWC (little white car).

I'll reserve judgment until I see one in person especially the rear end.

I certainly hope that the track mode turns off all the nannies except ABS, especially the active rev matching aand tire pressure monitor.

Mike, I agree that with appox 12000 units, Chevrolet had to do something revolutionary. The problem is they didn't. They took the rear of a Camaro and the side of a nissan Z car and are calling it the C7. I truly hope that I am wrong and they sell a ton of these but I am not betting on it.

+1, especially the Z06s and ZR1s, which the new C7 is not anywhere close to in performance, and won't be for many years, if ever.

                            John,
No, you're not. I like it, too. Love the use of the older Stingray emblem.

I like it also. Glad GM is finally putting in a better quality interior. Can't wait to see it at the BJ auction this week.

Just another GM styling dissapointment, but this one has enough electronics to keep a dealer's service department busy for a long time.
