Bob; Thank you for your kind words and support. Why our names were left out of the new manual is beyond me when those involved with the manual knew who we were! All we did was to try to make the manual better for both the restorers and judges. Those on top should have thanked us and asked for more info while we are still alive.....Once us old timers and lovers of 63's and 64's are gone, so will much of the info be gone.....Thanks again for your leadership and support....Andy
Bob,Andy,Ken,John, Mike,Bob,Jimmy, I hope that the team has put forth the changes needed as those of us that have not been around like myself and others are hungry for the wealth of info. on our cars that are in restoration on about to be started. correctness does have a meaning to a lot of us.And like you say Andy once the senior members are not around to answer our questions who will we turn to.I myself thank you and the team for sharing the wealth,This will be important to the future corvette restorers and those of us who hope to help with judging these cars. Thanks, Ed Johnson

      Unbelievable.
Reba's following declaration that, as a coordinator, she had never seen a final proof before printing also falls under that category.
I say that as one who served on Keith Kibbe's 61/2 JM revision team during the Ice Age. Keith's process was: 1> input from everyone; 2> furnish everyone's offerings to everyone; 3> try for a consensus; 4> publish the consensus & tweak; 5> Upon agreement, move on. This was done with every topic and included call outs of areas not agreed on. We all saw and could comment on the final product. It was a great process and subsequent manuals also adapted the format. Keith proceeded on to National Judging Chairman.
Contrast that with perhaps the start of problems in the 63/4 JM. A request for comments/revisions appeared; I'm not sure if I knew who all received such a request; input was given and nothing more was heard until it was announced at Bend Oregon that the JM was going to press; and the product was the creation of the "Team Leader" alone, wherever he might now be.

I'd like to purchase one, but when I try and do this through the NCRS store, it seems as if they are out of stock (or more than likely showing not available). Has anyone else been successful ordering one online? Thanks for your help.

        Mike
No luck for me either trying to do it online. Message says they're in FL, returning today. I'll wait to do it the old fashioned way via phone.
