    Re: AIM databases

I would appreciate the database for 1967 and agree to never sell it or redistribute it in any way. I don't know what a Microsoft is. Any chance of getting the db in flat file(s) format so I can load into mysql or a gdb? Thanks

      Gary,
Microsoft is Windows. I know only of Apple, Microsoft, and Unix (if they're still around). I have no clue as to what a "flat file" format or mysql or gdb formats are or what system(s) they run on.

        Don,

A flat file is a text file where each CRLF [EOL windows] separates a database records and each record is a tab or comma separated set of column values. I hope you're kidding. I was.

I'll take whatever format you have and I'll figure it out. Thanks.

          Re: AIM databases

Gary, the data is in a format that is usable by a product called Microsoft Access. Microsoft Access is part of the Microsoft Office Suite. All of the products within the Microsoft Office Suite are owned by the Microsoft Corp. The same company that ownes the Windows Operating System (Windows 10 as an example). Other products in the Microsoft Office Suite are Word, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, etc. Microsoft Access will allow you quick search capabilities on Part Number and/or Description.

                        Don,

Might I have a database for the 1972?
And have you made one for the 1977?

You probably have my email, but if not...

                          Pat and all,

I have not done any AIM databases past the 1974. The reason, I don't have an AIM for any other years and I am not going to buy one.
SO...if you a Corvette and the AIM for it and would like a database for it, you'll have to loan it to me for a few months.

                          The following years have an AIM database completed: 56, 57, 58, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73 and 74.

As well as a Mid Year
                          single database encompassing 63-67s.
