The washers are SAE washers. SAE washers are typically thinner and have a smaller OD.

I have a ton of them. But I believe they are all cadmium or zinc.
Since we are not supposed to be pushing parts on this forum (yet) let me keep out of trouble and say the two washers are for free to NCRS members. Just promise you are going to put one on the fuel filter adapter stud on your 63 to 65 as that's what is original. The outside star washer that's been sold for an eon is incorrect.
I was going to write and article on this project but I think Alan should do it as he is into the Aims number and Parts book numbers big time. Maybe he and Hanson could do it together with nice pics.
Alan and Mike Hanson and our little group worked quite hard on convincing a lot of our members that these washers are the real deal for 63 to 65.
And to repeat the same washer was used for the fuel filter adapter stud and the clean air tube stud. Same jam nut too. A jam nut is about 1/2 the height of a regular nut. As far as the finish on the clean air tube nut and washer Mikey told you that.
Speaking of fuel filter adapter studs let me say finding an original one of those is not easy. The real deal has a round circle cut into the top of the stud.
As far as dimensions go I have them somewhere but can't provide them now as getting ready for Spring Carlisle.

Thanks Alan. Those page from the GM parts book are the one that clearly showed that the washer was indeed a flat washer. Not a lock or star washer. (those images look familiar)

JD, that's probably Alan's picture of his fuel filter bracket stud. I know it's not mine.
