    Ed -

Most of the Cobra guys use the "Mother-Thumper" (Google it for sources) 5# or 6# hammer; a similar one is made by the Imperial Hammer Co. in Rockord, Illinois. DO NOT use a plastic dead-blow hammer, except to "snug them up" - tightening them properly requires a good LEAD hammer.

Here's the 5 lb ***** Thumper, alongside a GM original service.

I see the software still does not allow us to use the real name of the item "m_u_t_h_a" Thumper .

Speaking of anti-seize and KO wheels, my spinners have pretty rusted threads - is it safe to put anti-seize on the threads when re-installing? - thanks, sl

Steve I use anti seize on my knock off threads, only a very same amount. I would clean the rust off the threads first. That could cause a problem if the spinners are not torqued correctly.
