Re: rear wheel drive vs. AWD... I have several friends that get wrapped up in 0-60 times and comparing cars based on this. When you're around/under 3 seconds to 60 mph, traction is a predominant factor and there are so many contributors to 0-60 other than engine. I'd suppose that transmission, suspension and tires are bigger factors than power/torque in this class. Can you put the power down? That's the tough part, eh?

Surely they would use the ZR1 parts bin, like carbon ceramics, MRC, etc. But maybe they don't want it to cost that much.

I guess at least carbon ceramics are going to be available. Perhaps not standard like they were in 2012 and 2013 but with the optional Z07 package.
