    if the lifter bores are all in line like a small

    block chevy it is a "mystery" engine used by GM in 1963 before the big block mark IV was mass produced. the production mark IV engines have the intake and exhaust lifter bores on 2 different angles. the inline lifter bores on the "mystery" cause a bad alignment of the exhaust push rods causing durability problems while under race conditions

      Why not just post some pictures here for everyone to see?
