This pump was used on one of the early Chap. cars in nearby Midland texas. I think i have rounded up enough par5ts to repair the pump. Thanks to all for the help.

Jim Hall Chaparral Can-Am cars. Remember the week we moved the experimental fab shop guys and their tools/raw materials to Hall's Rattlesnake Raceway trackside shop in Midland and put them in Chaparral uniforms for the press weekend? Magazine guys fell for it, their subsequent articles showed Chaparrals being built there by "Hall's crew", and GM Management got off our back about "building other people's race cars" at Chevrolet Engineering

NO! This baby is a 63 small block vette. I don't even know what all goodies it has.

John, That's what I thought he ment, but I wanted to hear it from him. Yes, I remember the Hall's Rattlesnake Raceway trackside shop in Midland situation--finally pulled one over on the press and the GM Management !!!

did either one of you guys know clark irwin? clark worked on some of these projects and was a old street racing buddy of mine.

i am not sure what department he worked but i know talking to him he worked on a lot of these type of projects at the tech center. his name is mention in paul van valkerburg book in the dedication list of guys who worked the race programs. do you know what ever happen to bill king? bill done heads for me back in the 60S. bill howell is the only one i have any contact with in the last few years.
