      67 Is different , not sure about 67 L88 & J56
Tom, Phil -- Yes, 1967 MY was different. J56 could be had with any BB. This is confirmed by the dealer order form, and in fact by GM Canada-delivered Corvettes. There's a Montreal dealer that ordered and received several L36's with big brakes.

Was your L88 a 69 ? The white/saddle convertible L88 , Corvette Mike in CA. got a Duntov with that car in 2005 or so , sold it to guy in Ft Wayne in 2006 , just sold by the new owner last month, I think Kruse has it ?

          regards Tom
Now in a private collection in Tampa. New owner contacted me Friday. Car got a Bloomington Gold in '87 and a Duntov in '88. Car has a real storied history. 2nd owner could be called a serious street racer, to say the least. Was clocked on radar at 156. The trooper told me that it went by so fast, he was not sure what it was, other than a white car

The Corvette sold on Saturday for $305K (gavel price)
The One of One refers to the transmission, ordered through a COPO.
            Proteam was the seller.

Trying to get my hands on the auction video.

Here is the video of the 1969 Corvette L88 COPO race car that sold at Mecum's Kissimme auction on Saturday.

This 1969 Corvette L88 COPO Convertible made its presence known like no other car during last weekend’s Mecum auction in Kissimmee, Florida. When it fired up the race-prepped 427 cubic inch big block and rolled into the auction ring, the packed house was paying close attention. Here was a documented authentic factory L88 race car […]

Last I heard the Garner L88 was headed to Seattle or Tacoma area, I do not know exactly where or who has it now. I will see the seller in March (Jim Herlinger) when he receives the C5R that won the ALMS series. I'll ask him if he knows then.

I was there at the auction, what a great sight to see Dick drive the car onto the stage! He is a great guy for all you that have not been fortunate enough to meet him!
