I plan to be in Fingham this Sat. with my 58 vette. Yes I'll be driving. Is there another way to go? I will be there with some of the guys from the STL chapter.

Boy, this event sneaked up on me. This is a really good event, many thanks to Mike for offering the event. Maybe I can hitch a ride with someone from Alton, IL. It's pitiful, I have three old cars and not sure one of them would make it across the state. Hat's off to the drivers!

In the club parking area we will have our banner, Coles County Corvette Club, hanging on the tent. I believe our location is close to the "Cars For Sale" area.

Just got back home from 2 days at Funfest. Was able to meet up with a few members from here on the board. Bill Lacy, thanks for your help with my 67 hood latch!! I got it back together (and plan on "making" one of those boards you talked about for a backup plan!!

David, it was good meeting you and your buddy from the St Louis Chapter. I look forward to joining the St Louis chapter.

Terry great to finally be able to put a face with a name after following your posts here on the TDB for awhile. It was good walking around and talking with you and your daughter. Did you happen to see the 69 from new York with 575,000 miles on 5 engines!! He said he's been to about EVERY kind of Corvette show there is. I'd hate to say how many maps he had in his glovebox but it was hanging open and crammed full of them.

Always enjoy talking with Dennis and Pokey out of the St Louis chapter. I see them at several Mid America events throughout the year and anyone that's knows them know how much they enjoy being around Corvettes and car people in general. Take care, Shooter

Thanks for your company Shooter. I had a great time. It was hoot meetin the 4 guys visiting the show from Austria. I had a great time talking to the guy from West Frankfort too who owned the 60 unrestored/survivor. He sure was proud of that car.
