Nice to chat with you too Shooter. No, I missed that 1969. My daughter and I went to Altamont for a wine tasting Saturday afternoon -- she tasted, I drove. We got to indulge one of my other passions -- old houses. Lots of neat little towns around there. There was some kind of Jeep event going on too. Lots of Jeeps running through Altamont.

Thanks for your company Shooter. I had a great time. It was hoot meetin the 4 guys visiting the show from Austria. I had a great time talking to the guy from West Frankfort too who owned the 60 unrestored/survivor. He sure was proud of that car.

The guys from Austria were definitely neat. If anyone has followed their adventure over on the CF they have been in the states for 3 weeks visiting, Detroit, Indy, Bowling Green, Effingham then back to Chicago today to fly back home. And had several stops at some car museums and other "guy stuff" along the way courtesy of some of the CF buddies. Over in Indy they made a stop for one of the guys to get an electric Corvette riding car for his daughter. They were definitely enjoying their time here.
