I saw the Brothers Four in DC 1962. Wonder what happened to them? My memories are faded, but I do remember peanut shucks on the floor.

I have met Chis Osborne. She has some great art of musicans and their cars. She sells prints too. They are very reasonable. She did a commissioned piece for a friend with his guitar and his 61 Ferarri 2+2.

I read that Roy Orbison owned a 69' L71, I believe that car is still around.

Nobody but nobody could play like Jimi!

Great thread , brings back a ton of memories
I was at LaGuardia Airport in NYC when the Beatles first landed in the USA in the early 60's and I owned a 58 Corvette.

Takes me back to alot of concerts, theirs, Herman's Hermits , Ike &Tina (I was on front row by stage and her sweat hit my mouth---), Beach Boys (my favorite), and I will never forget Kate Smith. I was fresh out of college and learning the Air Force ways when Janis and Jimi died. Way too soon.
Steven, I had never heard of Kate Smith. Thanks for the intro. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnQDW-NMaRs
