Just another GM styling dissapointment, but this one has enough electronics to keep a dealer's service department busy for a long time.

That problem has been with the Corvette since the C-4 starting with the 84 dash & then got worse incliding the Barbie doll toy cheap interiors.

I was wrong about new Corvette just looking like an old "Z"car. It has the top of an old "Z" car grafted to a Mazda3 or Toyota Scion front end with a butt ugly Camaro butt and tail lights glued on.

The C6 had these headlight color options:

H33	Cyber Gray Metallic headlamp color override
H34	Blade Silver Metallic headlamp color override
H35	Black headlamp color override

Lets hope what is shown includes that option and one can go with standard body color headlamps.

Look! all the new cars look alike. They are all cooky cutter cars. Lets face it we are old & this is the way it will be CAD/CAM & racing has dictated what they all look like. The younger people like it so we should stick to C1,2&3's or go with the flow. I would like to know what people here would like the new Corvette to look like. I don't see much differenence than the C-6.

I think you pretty much nailed it there. It just looks way too "Tuner" for my taste, I just can't see a 50 or 60 somethings driving the red one, we would look pretty silly. Perhaps different colors and brighter wheels might change a few folks minds.

Personally speaking, I'd like it to look like a Corvette. I don't particularly like the fact that I can spot DNA of other cars blended into the soup, but overall I don't think this is a bad job though.

+1, I would agree, it is starting to grow on me, but they MUST get rid of that sperm-looking logo on the front fenders, that's just embarrassing.

I like the emblem of the ray! For the 3rd generation of the Sting Ray/Stingray, they had to do something different.

That emblem came right off the 1959 Mitchell Stingray racer.

Seeing the front, it looks a bit Viper-ish.

That's part of what I don't like about it, at a glance from the front it looks like any number of cars. From the C5 backward, there was no doubt what it was.

a different view....... kinda like, but will take a z06 c6 all day
