The cost of the ramps is not the issue for me. It is the safety factor. We are discussing the C-5 judging matter, but will proceed prudently. Dave

But, as NCRS strives to do I was paired with a very experienced 200 point judge who happened to have owned the same year since new. He taught me a lot which I am grateful for. As all judging we follow the sheets step by step and refer to the manual so as to be as accurate as possible. In Ops it is there or it is not and it works or it does not.

NASCAR solved the issue with mirrors on wheels. Someone here is a former NASCAR tech inspector, perhaps he could comment.

Well so far you guys have been nice to "noobs" like me. I joined earlier this year and just spoke out on the forum for the first time over the weekend. I have been looking for a particular corvette for years and was told that I should join the ncrs because it will be a ncrs car that will make me most happy. I got sick and tired of the run around at those car dealerships and consignment shops. Talk about negativity. Try buying a car at one of those places. I have had so many horrible stories when dealing with these places. Fortunately, I never bought a C3 shark from there, or anywhere for that matter. I do have an affinity to all original or factory correct cars. I am not into modified classics. Not my thing. Hopefully, the ncrs will help me and I plan on getting more involved.

It is a shark tank out there these days for C1-C3s. Just when you think I can trust somebody, you find out you can't. NCRS is the place to be if you are looking for that "particular" Corvette. Lots of resources and people who have been there and done that many times, welcome and enjoy!

Thanks for the welcome. I am indeed looking for that "particular" corvette. I am looking on other forums as well and I can relate to the exact topic here "negativity"

I find this forum quite interesting and one of a kind. What I mean is I like the lack of anonymity here. Other forums people can hide behind a moniker and attack other members. I would say a good 90 percent of these folks wouldn't even dare participate in a forum like this. It would totally be out of there game plan. They calls those types trolls. Well so far I am liking it here and with that new classifieds section this place will only become better. Take care.
