Have owned my 63 since new. Ordered it in April 63 while in the Army in NM from a small dealer in my home state of Wisconsin. Picked it up in August 63 while on leave, expecting to spend all of my enlistment at Whitesands, but the Army sent me to SEA in November 63 instead. Car was in storage off and on until 1976 when I finally brought it home to garage. Still has only had one (1) pinion seal replaced in 46k miles (+ second carburetor and fourth set of tires). Think I may opt for a new clutch in the near future though.

I've owned my 1965 Fuel Injected , KH knockoff, side pipe, F-40 suspension, roadster since April of 1973. Coming up on 40 years. It was our daily driver then because we couldn't afford to let it sit. Paid $2850 for it then , which was all the money in the world for an old Corvette. Jerry

68 International blue with dark blue interior hardtop we got before any kids in 1972. We brought our oldest daughter home from hospital in '74 (before car seats) and 27 years later to the church in her wedding gown. Needless to say the '68 is her car.

My other daughter took her ride to the church in our '67 silver coupe but we only had it since '93.

My first was a '53, bought in '59, which shortly got a 6-71-blown '58 Buick "nailhead" and ran 12's on Bucrons; sold it in '61.

Have had many since, only bought one new - '65 L-79 coupe, Glen Green with black/white 2-tone interior (stolen in 1969).

Bought my '67 in 2002, and my '69 Z/28 from the original owner in 2001.

I purchased my very first Corvette, a 1971 LT-1 on September 29, 1974 and still own it today. Out of all the Vettes I have owned, this is the one I have had the longest. Just south of forty years.

I've only had my 66 since 2005. But my uncle bought it used in 68. He took me for a ride in it when I was maybe 13 or so. That was a life changing experience for me!

I purchased my 62 in 1963 after looking at the new 63 many times. Could not warm up to the new body style. Still own the 62 with origional paint and still has all origional chrome except for the front bar. Most mechanicals have been refurbished over the past 10 years. It is driven during good weather.

I got my 63 fuelie basket case in 1985.
I got my 1972 454, 4-speed, A/C car in 1989. I was 29 years old.

The 1972 454 car was my fifteenth or sixteenth Corvette. I was buying them, fixing them up and selling them all through my twenties. I use the profits and some saving to buy my first house in my mid twenties.

Wish I had a few of the ones I sold back.

I'm a second gen Corvette owner. My folks gave me a 71 LT-1 two and a half years ago. I love it, I'm totally hooked on the hobby. I also recognize how fortunate I am to receive such an awesome gift. I picked up a nice teak wheel as a Thank You for my fathers '67 ) It's been a lot of work to get it back to being road reliable. I've learned a lot and its been fun. Should be a runner by the time is warm out.

Purchased my first Corvette, a white/red 340 hp, 4spd, in April 1965 for $2,500. Had 28,000 miles on it, now 114,000, and that was 48 years ago.

Purchased my first, and only, new Corvette, a Silver Anniv (B2Z paint option), red leather, L-82 auto in June 1978. Order was placed with A. J. Foyt Chev in Houston in December 1977. The new fast-back window and 25th anniverary edition made production and delivery take a while. Has 78,000 + miles and was nearly 35 years ago.

I'm another one of those guys that buys and holds. Almost sold the 1962 back in 1969 after getting married. Fellow worker made me an offer and I said "yes". Was sick the whole weekend and hated to go to work on Monday to face the music. Fortunately, the guy backed out, and I have never been tempted again despite numerous offers to buy.

Bought my '63 roadster in 1985 about a month before leaving for a year in Korea. I had recently sold my 3000 mile '78 that I had ordered new due to the then double-digit interest rate on our first home. The 63 was hit hard in the front so my Dad trailered it to S.C. for me where it sat in the garage until I got back and hauled it back to Florida and it's home state ever since. I did most of the restoration and have really enjoyed this fun little driver.

I bought my '66 coupe in February 1976 from a good friend whom was having twins, had to sell.It 's a well optioned big block, a beautiful car with 36K on it, now restored with about 69,000 miles.
My '61 Fuelie driver from the Estate of a So Cal Legend in '98, he purchased it in '65 and my '57 FI that was purchased new in my town, 36,000 miles, a treasure. Plus like most of the rest of us, a few Vettes to "flip".

I got out of the Army in March of 1972 and that summer bought a little '63 roadster for $1,400. We completed a body-on restoration of this car and I came across a '66 nassau blue coupe that I had to have. Traded the roadster for the coupe in March of 1977. Next month will be 36 years of ownership of the coupe.

Three original owners in the garage. 1968 convertible L79 purchased new in March 1968, 1970 coupe 350/300 purchased new in August 1970, and 1996 LT4 coupe purchased new in June 1996. 1985 purchased in 1992 from original owner.
